SmartDraft^® Dimension Tools can use the AutoCAD^® Dimension object or a polyline with text. When placing dimensions, the current DVIEW angle is used to correctly rotate the text.

SmartDraft creates the dimstyle from the current horizontal scale and drawing setup options to:

• Label the distance between two points


• Label the truncated distance between two selected points and add dimension suffix


• Label the distance between two points with a prompt for the label


• Label the distance between two points without a leader line


• Label the distance between two points with the leader line and annotation on the outside


• Create dynamic arc distance labels


• Add an alternate unit (metric) length for a selected dimension text string.
