The Dimension
Tools can either use the AutoCAD’s
Dimension Object or a polyline with
text. When placing dimensions, the
current DVIEW angle is used to correctly
rotate the text.
SmartDraft creates
the dimstyle from the current horizontal
scale and program settings.

Label the distance between
two points.

Label the truncated distance
between two selected points and add
dimension suffix.
·
Label the distance between two points
with a prompt for the label.
·
Label the distance between two points
without a leader line.
·
Label the distance between two points
with the leader line and annotation
on the outside.
·
Label the distance of a selected arc.
·
Add an alternate unit (metric) length
for a selected dimension text string.
