February 7, 2012 - Just Released! SmartDraft 9.5.25
New Features: SmartDraft 9.5 includes powerful new features, several of them based on requests from our survey customers. Click on the    icons below to view video demonstrations of these new features.
	Inverse Points: Inverses between selected point objects, point numbers, or Civil 3D Survey database points, with inverse results displayed at the command line and cursor, as well as an option to save to a report.
	Associate Survey Working Folder: Associates a drawing with its Civil 3D Survey Working Folder. This allows SmartDraft to change the Survey Working Folder when changing from drawing to drawing, insuring that the correct Survey Point Database will be available with each drawing.
	Edit Labels The SmartDraft Edit Labels (ED) command has been enhanced to allow editing of descriptions of Civil 3D Survey Database points by selecting them in the drawing. This simplifies correcting descriptions in processing of linework.
	Parcel Tools: The SmartDraft Closure Report now has an option to include point numbers in the report, including reports created from Civil 3D Parcels.
	PConnect: New option: Include Filter: To limit the processing of points to Group(s), Point Range, Layers, or Selected Points.
	Traverse: New point output option. Create linework and/or points using bearing, turned angle, length, delta and coordinates.

	PConnect: This version includes the following new connection codes: Templates, Offset Right/Left, Offset Middle, Extend, Rectangle, Right Angle Back, Turn Right Angles, Circle, and Square. PConnect continues to provide superior field-to-finish survey linework tools that combine the best features of attributed point coding with an easily controlled - yet powerful - 2D and 3D line control language. PConnect’s enhanced connection codes give users increased flexibility and the ability to produce automated linework and layering.

SmartDraft 10 is presently in the early stages of development, and upon its release, the software will support AutoCAD 2013 products and include:
- Major new features, including further enhancements to the SmartDraft Core, Annotation, and Survey tool sets; and
- Entirely new products with significant features to expand the grading and drainage functionality in Autodesk products.

August 2011 - New enhancement tools added for polylines and grading.

March 2011 - SmartDraft 9 supports AutoCAD 2007- 2012 products.

January 2011 - Announcement: Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc. (WSSI) acquires the popular SmartDraft line of productivity enhancement software for AutoCAD, after more than three years of collaboration between WSSI and SmartDraft, Inc. Rex Cooper, formerly the president of SmartDraft, Inc., has joined the WSSI staff in the position of Technical Product Manager. All current SmartDraft licenses and subscriptions will be honored, and you will continue to receive the same great products and services that you have come to expect.
