SmartDraft (formerly Smart Drafting) was designed to make AutoCAD Civil 3D ®, AutoCAD Land Desktop ®, AutoCAD Map ®, and AutoCAD ® more productive. It is designed with civil engineers, mapping professionals, and surveyors in mind. It makes Civil 3D, and for those of you still on Land Desktop more productive. It reads data directly from your design and creates intellegent labels. With the release of v9.x many of our labels will be dynamic and the information will update as the design changes or the labels are moved or copied. We are also adding the ability to edit existing labels. For our clients using Land Desktop or AutoCAD only, this version will support AutoCAD 2006 - 2011 based products. Current subscription clients will get this upgrade at no additional charge.

NEWS: We'll be releasing version 9.x of SmartDraft very soon. It will have a Civil 3D focused version with dynamic labels and many other great tools you will learned to love. It will also support the 2011 versions of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Map. We're also addressing installation on Microsoft Windows 7 ®

April 5, 2010: SmartDraft v8.5.17d. Last patch for version 8.x Added Filled and Block option to dimension, and leader arrowheads. Fixed various printing problems, a problem opening older drawings used by earlier version of SmartDraft. This version of SmartDraft supports AutoCAD 2006 - 2010 based Civil 3D, Map, and Land Desktop 2006 - 2009.
